Periodic patrol monitoring of the vacuum pressure for 30 pieces of equipment required roughly 3 hours per month per unit for a total of 90 hours per month.
The customer wanted some way to reduce this maintenance load.
Implementation
The pressure gauge data collection was automated by converting and graphing the analog values (0-5V) collected by the wireless 0-5V and Pulse Signal Units into atmospheric pressure values (Pa) using the Windows application features provided by Murata.
Results
