When handling personal information using the integrated renewable energy control solution efinnos (the “Solution”) provided by Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (“Murata”), in light of the importance of protecting personal information (here and hereinafter, personal information as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information), Murata complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and this Policy on Handling of Personal Information (this “Policy”) and makes every effort to protect personal information.

1. Purposes of Use

   Murata collects personal information for the following purposes:

   • To register users and identify personnel ("Users") from businesses utilizing the solution
   • To send communications, updates, and notifications related to the solution
   • To confirm and address opinions, requests, and inquiries regarding the solution
   • To fulfill contracts, engage in business negotiations, and conduct necessary communications
   • To operate, maintain, manage, and troubleshoot the solution effectively
   • To enhance the solution through development efforts, improve customer service, and undertake marketing initiatives
   • To introduce new products and services and conduct research for functional improvements

   For any other purposes incidental to those listed above.

2. Outsourcing Personal Information Handling Operations

   Murata may outsource, in whole or in part, the handling of user personal information that it acquires. In this case, Murata shall perform necessary and appropriate supervision of the relevant service providers.

3. Third-Party Provision

   Except in cases prescribed by laws and regulations or when the user consents, Murata shall not provide user personal information to third parties.

4. Modification of Purposes of Use, etc.

   In the event that Murata makes any changes to the purposes of use, third-party provision, or other provisions of this policy, Murata shall provide notice to the email addresses registered by users or on the web or other such means and shall perform necessary responses, including obtaining consent from users.
